My Earliest Memory
My earliest memory of something unexplainable was when I was about three years old. I was in my bedroom when, out of the corner of my eye, I saw my favorite stuffed animal float from one dresser to another on the opposite side of the room. As a child, I felt delighted. I wasn’t afraid and sensed overwhelming love in the room. I was so overjoyed that I ran to tell my parents what I had seen. They, of course, laughed it off and said it was just my imagination. But I knew, and I still know today, that it truly happened. It wasn’t just a child’s overactive imagination.
I believe this was my first encounter with an angel. I now recognize the feelings I experience in the presence of the divine: love, peace, and pure joy. After my parents’ reaction, I also realized these moments were very special and meant to be kept secret rather than widely shared. These are sacred events, and I was meant to treat them as such. Although sharing these experiences isn’t wrong, it’s crucial to discern the right timing and audience.
